LearnCycle's License Essentials option offers the full NYDOS-approved 77-hour salesperson qualifying course at no charge. You arrange an approved in-person proctor for the school final; some approved public library options may be free. Its $99 Finish From Home package includes remote course-final proctoring.
That makes the minimum LearnCycle route dramatically cheaper than NYREI's $495 Basic package. Using the current $15 New York State exam fee, the comparison is approximately $15 minimum with LearnCycle plus a no-cost approved proctor, $114 with LearnCycle Finish From Home, versus $510 for NYREI Basic plus the state exam.

New York requires 77 hours of approved qualifying education, a school-administered proctored final exam, and the separate New York State salesperson exam. The school final and state exam are different exams.
The Department of State's approved-school directory includes many more providers than the schools on this page. This comparison is limited to the providers I specifically researched for price and retake value.
Important pricing notes
